The mate and I walked into a fresh food store today, he wanted some fresh peaches, after he squeezed nearly every variety he could find, he grabbed one peach and we preceded to the checkouts, the girl at the counter was preoccupied talking to her other friend doing nothing at the other checkout? The mate got her attention, then I added we are council workers so we can only afford the one peach today! She asked if we would like to borrow a knife, too cut it in half’s? then my mate added no we will take it in turns as we take a bite each!
Some people just need a little humour so they can open up!
When we got back to the depot, I noticed all these bird droppings around the bosses car? So I said to my mate, go get the platform ladder so we can teach these birds not to miss! Unfortunately the boss went out before we could bring the ladder around?
I told the supervisor off our intensions and he nearly had a hart attack!
You think they would have learnt by now! Not to leave me and the mate unsupervised?

For 2013 I hope we see less of the all too common random acts of violence?
I am so sick of seeing/hearing about some young guy just having a night out and gets 'king hit' by some cowardly lowlife
For a start I would just like to see more people SMILE
You know when you pass someone in the street, shops, in a lift and they kind of look at you, then look down or look away??
I have tried it these last couple of days, every apartment block I have been in the lift and someone steps in I have said the usual niceties "Morning", "lovely day out there?" just to see what I get back?
Most people answer with a comment, only one guy looked at his feet and wondered if I was some kind of weirdo
