I love the fire works we celebrate our big fireworks on Australia day 26th January , we are thinking of going to Rottness Island 28 klms off our coast line it's popular holiday resort and are hoping we will be able to see fire works from there also it's my friends birthday on Australia Day. cake australia too reasons to celebrate. thumbs up

I am in two minds,
I love fireworks,


But really what a waste of money,

Just in Australia alone, you look at New Year's Eve

Who actually pays for the fire works,

Having spent 20 years with a Council in Sydney where we let off fireworks on Aust Day and another festival, it was good to see so many members of the community having a great day out where they would enjoy the company of others they would not normally speak to.













Just a shame they all want to leave at the same time before the rush.frustrated frustrated

Actually I was tolled off when I went and did my skippers ticket that you never use miles or Klms when talking in aviation or navigation! As a nm is 1.2 miles, as I don’t think you will ever be able to drive there and that there is no cars allowed, you will just have to suck lemons or start using NM!
