Well I have just organised my Stralia day out ... tomorrow... 26th.. with an early matinee of Tinkerbell with my granddaughter... followed by an excursion to the beach...
Doesn't sound as much fun as Curly's but it will do me fine..

Today is my niece's birthday. Sunday is my nephew's birthday. The parents born in other places were so hopeful but Mother Nature does have her own way.
So spread your Vegemite thickly (still means a only real Aussie eats it), suffer from Lambnesia as Sam (with some funny name) would say, and enjoy the celebrations of the founding, establishment and developing of Australia to what it is today.

its a cracker poem... so Aussie...
I have had a good day... started with going to see Tinkebell the movie at 9am.. ( my granddaughters choice.)
Then round the shops for a bit of nonsense buying.. (puzzles and stuff)
Then to the beach for some fun
Then home for baths and food
Then I just got tired and went for a nanna nap
So thinking of going walking now..
That will be me.. I have had a happy day...

I had a quiet Aussie day just took a friend shopping she has just moved house so helping her out. and just chilled today not doing the Stralia day thing this year roads are blocked have to get public transport to get to fireworks Na! leave that for the younger gen.
I have started walking again along the coastline of a morning want to get fitter for Melbourne so I can get about faster and fitter
I have to start quiet early in the mornings this week as Perth is in for another whole week of heat wave in the high 30's

Walking is just great.. and I did go for a longish walk tonight... but I find a treadie in the family room...(its permanent home).. is great.. for those times when you have either too hot or too cold or not enough light to go out..Well Australia Day was a total wash out on the Coast this year - unless you were in the Pub!
Shame a lot of outdoor events put on by the Council were cancelled.
Got out for dinner, seafood restaurant on the waterfront - yummy
