Yeah I closed all the windows prior to 9pm knowing my dog isn't a fan.
An ironic thought passed through my mind .. there's a 'pelican feed' tourist attraction that goes on here at 3pm every day down at the waterfront, dozens of pelicans gather there, quietly waiting, in the hour or two preceding it.
Which is followed by a prolonged series of loud explosions on festive occasions in the same location a few hours later?
They should be providing those pelicans with earplugs as well as fish.
