Each state will have a website that details each area; would probably view what they say is going on since they are not very likely to provide/promote areas that are less than visitor friendly. When an area sparks interest, can review what visitors have said about it online in another search. If you have not done so, here is North Carolina:
L_B76: Who can suggest me some good place to visit in:
Florida "No Miami Hollywood"
North Carolina
Albuquerque
Why did you pick those destinations? I drove through Albuquerque on the old route 66 about 30 years ago, there wasn't anything there then and I doubt there's anything there now. Not much to see in NC except Kitty Hawk where the Wright Bros flew their air plane but even that is just a tourist trap, there's nothing there except a wide flat beach. FL has a lot of different attractions Disneyland, Universal theme park Cape Canaveral the Everglades etc. IMO the best part of FL is old florida that is the center of the state away from all the tourists. Go in March when the orange trees are in blossom, the smell is intoxicating.
My area of florida is beautiful it is a quiet small coastal town but night life is within driving distance. Also the major theme parks are not to far away. There are museums and plenty of things for one to do. Vero Beach is the name of the city. They boast some of the most beautiful beaches. North Carolina has the lovely outter banks to visit. They have many pottery places also that are very interesting. The gorgeous Ridgecrest mountains retain much beauty. Lumberton has restored many of their beautiful older buildings and tho like my town not much to do for night life they have that that is worth taking in. Also they have the heritage of the cherokee and the lumbee indians.
I am not big on the club life (bar scene) but I do enjoy the arts and both these areas are rich with artistic value. Where ever you go I do hope you enjoy your time and take with you many good memories.

THATS VERY APPRECIATED!!!! Albuquerque lets say got a friend around there.... so a visit can be worth... ill consider the things for North Carolina... and well last but best Florida... hmm seems the best is there... geezz hate big times touristic places... so ill stick away from there... and big times thanks...
Kentucky or Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg,Tennessee. There's all kinds of neat places to see and eat.I'm been to these places many a time and the a good share of the motels/hotels have a view of the Smoky Mountains.
Plus you can also travel through the Smoky Mountains over to Cherokee North Carolina which is obviously goes into the Cherokee Indian Reservation and visit many different places like shops etc. It's not just all Indian stuff.

there's lots to do in NC---plantations, light houses, beaches
if you go to Fla. avoid Miami. Go to Palm Beach if you have money. There are a few smaller beaches that are very nice but not well known - Delray Beach on the east coast is a great one - not far from the Everglades or Disney & close to Fort Lauderdale if u wanna partay...and close to Palm if u wanna rub elbows with the monied peeps...
Myrtle Beach in South Carolina I'd also recommend - try North Myrtle
Also for some Americana and horseraces - Lexington Kentucky is a great town! Not quite as far south as SC and Fla. It's a mountain town in tabacco land- famous for horses, the Derby and it's authentically American!!
