My brothers still surf, but I gave it away in my 20s. A 9 foot set came through and washed my board onto the rocks (no longer in one piece) and myself up the beach! Thank heavens the guys I surfed with grabbed me a towel as I had also lost the bottom half of my bikini!

the tallest wave i have surfed was only about 7 feet tall. that was a fun day.

I surfed a wave (swell) once about as high as a chair,about 4 meters out to sea couldn't even stand up properly, and came rolling and tumbling back onto the beach with a pretty bruised ego
