I too am the only one here, but I'm not alone.
I too have nowhere to go, but then I don’t want to go anywhere.
I have a lot of work to do today, but then I like working.
My body feels liked death warmed over, but my mind's having ecstatic delusions!
My computer actually booted up today, that's always a miracle!
My cat doesn't express its love for me, but deep down inside I know he adores me.
My place is a total disaster area! But that just means there's plenty of room for improvement!
My libido has forsaken me! But they say that all things pass!
I have to go pee now. But I DO have indoor plumbing!

There's no one here, but I am not alone.
There's nowhere to go, but I am here.
There's nothing for breakfast, but there is a pie in the freezer (note to self - do not defrost this time).
The Lions are 2-8, but I get to see them play today (okay, this is a mixed blessing).
There's nothing to tinker with in the garage, but a friend needs a carburetor rebuild on his dual-purpose bike this weekend.
The hair is graying, but it's still there.
It has been incredibly stressful at work as of late, but I have four days off.
Some of the Christmas light strings will invariably be duds, but I discovered this morning I had the foresight to buy four new strings, just in case.
I have enough quarters to do my laundry. This is a big deal, really.
I have the means, through this technology, to warmly wish all of you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.
