1. Eat somewhere else and into the bar before 10 and hope for a seat (their suggestion).
2. Head out to Fitzroy and try something else - Greek, Turkish {some with belly dancers}, etc.
3. Lygon Street (close to City) for an Italian feed and watch the passing parade. Some places are pricey, some very good value but usually pot luck.

I've seen the draculars to die for experience an it was an awesome live theatre very talented actors with 3 course meal top night
