A short-eared dog would have one pointing east and one pointing west.
2. If on side, then probably floppy ears would be whatever but likely the left one fallen over and pointing west. Although the wind would probably blow it to the north. Now a short-eared would have one scrunched up under his head one the left one pointing up.
Okay PrOwLeR_ give us a clue what type of dog ....hopefully not a Doberman from Germanay as they usually have clipped ears that don't point anywhere except whichever way the head is pointing.
