You have not ancient heritage. What is your heritage till A.C...????? How you compared the ancient Greek heritage (art and writing) at the time with a Brit one is beyond me. You couldn't even develope your own language and you had to borrow from Romans and Greeks.rolling on the floor laughing
MICKEYMOST: Well if you'd looked after your marbles like we look after our heritage you'd still have them.

Well I guess they wrote the instructions down in Greek when they built Stonehenge if they were unable to converse, which was started about 3500BC.

None of you got the meaning of my question. I know my English is not perfect but you are not helping.
If Stonehenge was or not a burial precinct it is still a great an interesting heritage to be preserved and studied.

You might also find that Stonehenge is not exvlusively British from its origen.

I fully understood your meaning, but it is important to know why this huge monument was built if we wish to understand life many years ago.

The original Stonehenge was erected in the Stone Age by the people of Britain including Scots as remote as the Orkneys, as the structure was a cultural meeting point for the whole of the island. The continental influence came later from the Beakers who introduced the Iron Age and buried their dead in burial mounds surrounding the monument.
