I know, and I appreciate your effort, but I get the feeling the distance for one is a HUGE factor, as is the time of year. People have their kidlets out of school, and are likely busy with other things at the moment.

A_Non_A_Moose: A few years ago, Edmonton (Alberta) was infamous for not only planning, but actually pulling off some get-togethers! Just say when and where,....post it,...and see what happens! I didn't hear a call to pile into Ontario,...so,....once again,...must it be lberta?

Good Morning Corazon, there has been a few attempts at get togethers here in Canada. I think that because we are such a big country(area wise) that it really impedes the chances for a meet. There just doesn't seem to be enough people from any one area an unfortunately involves too much travel for most people.
yes people,, it's just a matter of planning who where when and we know why,, if it's a simple meet and greet,, you have to talk to the establishment where you're doing the meet and greet and make sure it's ok with them,, anything other than a meet and greet,, it's alot of planning,, i was one of the ones doing get togethers in edmonton,, they are alot of work,, but worth it
you plan something corazon53,, if they are alot of people that live in your surrounding area,, pick a neighborhood pub,, large enough to hold lots of people cuz ya never know,, just do a meet and greet,, pick a place,, pick a day,, pick a time and post it on here,, they will show up,, just letting you know
