tomcatwarne: Thanks for the reference. I have some modest investments in Cyprus and Spain, and did not foresee the financial meltdown, My investment in Cyprus is in bricks and mortar so should be ok. But Spain investments I am worried, the unknown !!!!
If you read and agree that the EU rules posted on page seven, infer a guarantee for depositors funds, including the Russian peoples legally deposited funds. Why not file a complaint using the email address that i've supplied and include a copy and paste those sections of EU Law in it. You might plead the communist Chinese directions appear to be totally inconsistent with the Rule of Law and therefore the current bail out agreement is clearly unlawful under EU regulations. That the 5 billion deposited by Cyprus banks in Greece, was protected by EU guarantee and therefore the EU has conduct and responsibility for for the plight Cyprus banks now finds its self trying to address.
