Loss my Youngest daughter (8)
Kiddy01: I lost my youngest daughter this week and I have no friends that even come over to support me. My other daughter has had phone calls, even her neighbour has been driving her around to make the arrangements as she is the next of kin. No one even bothers to even ask me out for a coffee to talk.

My sympathies Kiddy, I'm so sorry to hear that. Is there a friend you can ring and talk to? Some people just don't know what to say and stay away.

You are allowed to vent Kiddy. Please contact Healthlink and they can give you some information for Grief support. It really helps to have that support.
I wish you did not have to suffer the loss of your daughter. No parent should have to suffer a loss such at that. People shy away when a tragedy happens. There are many who understand how you feel. This is why a support group would help a lot. It's never easy to grieve, but it's how we cope and find some healing.

Kiddy, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss!!!
I can relate to no one taking the time for you in your time of need & sorrow. Last year my Dad passed, not one person, not one (and I even asked and was declined) would check on me, it was a dark experience knowing I couldn't depend on one person to be with me (they didn't have to say anything, it was only to know I didn't have to go thru this alone) but I did...still am really cuz I was never heard in the first place..

Kiddy I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your daughter. My heart goes out to you and hopefully you have managed to find some support system to help you get through this time of loss. If you feel that you aren't getting the support you need - ASK for sometimes people don't realize or understand.
