Is that the calf that you posted a pic of , bit tough having lactose intolerant calves . Could be just an infection caused by not getting colostrum milk . It will be an up-hill battle with that one . If you can put a fresh calver in the bail , playing catchup .
Yes its the calf picture posted in here, have already dished him up two fresh calved cows heifer, while last cow John rounded up, turned out to be really mad, kill you if she got you, now she has red tag in ear and back up on the mountain.
Managed to get the calf to drink from mad cow with her head in headbail four or five feeds, a cow with bit older calf is letting him feed, so I also continually put him on her , but still he isn't doing very well.
Oh what will be will be, Robyn said she reared a bull calf on just honey and water if it comes to that might happen. Is show day in Bairnsdale Johns gone to that and will see vet in his travels...
