Why can't a poster just ask a question instead of spending a lot of efford listening his prepared an (2)
i suppose you always have the option of not selecting one of the suggested answers and instead replying with your own answer.
i doubt it's the case too often here but a common tactic of pollsters is to list only possible answers that will steer those who reply to the results that the pollster hopes to achieve.
this happens in american politics all the time.
