I have thought about visiting Las Vegas in looking for a place to possibly buy a home and live. I have had some good and bad input. Maybe some people that actually have lived there or still do would be so kind to share their experience or ????? Things like the seasons, the water you drink, the general pulse of living there vs the tourism. I am not looking to be a tourist and I don't have any desire to be a gambler. Crime is an issue but is it worse in some places, do they build Basements in the houses there? LOL. That is some of the things that go through my mind. Thanks for sharing.

I was there one time and had a nice place at the MGM. Actually got Married there on Christmas Day. I had rented a brand new Lincoln Town Car. It had 5 miles on the odometer. I had bought a real beat up guitar at a pawn shop and drove real far into the Dessert and laid across the hood of the car and played some music in the silence under a big sky that really felt great. But like I said, that was just a short trip and I can't really look at that experience as a normal day to day event there.
