There are spots like that, but the bad is indeed prevalent.

I wouldn't say it is prevalent, I would say it is in your face more. We are bombarded now with information like never before. It is hard not to notice all the bad things being reported, maybe you should turn off the tv for a while and look around you. I love people watching for this reason, it is amazing watching people interact. People are still mostly good, it just isn't reported on like the bad stuff.

A lot of truth in that snags. Bad news makes the headlines it's a fact.

Listen to the news on the radio, tv and it is almost always the bad news - because it grabs your attention?

Good things are happening out there - we just don't hear about them as much?

So why not make it happen revealer? A lot of those acts of kindness to strangers in that video are things we could do almost everyday?? Or similar? Help an elderly person carry something to their car, pick something up if they drop something, let that car in at a merge, put your small change in the charity box at the supermarket check out?

It may not change the world but it will make ourselves feel better? hug

Pure fantasy.

Socialism has died in the crapper because people are trying to get want they can. Socialism has been tried and has been proven to be just another religion that cannot work.

How did socialism come into the picture? Is kindness socialism?

If you ever bothered to read Karl Marx's works, you might have an understanding of Utopia.

That's all very well on paper but in reality 'the tyrant' is exactly that and punishes, tortures, murders anyone who opposes him?

Never been in that situation myself but how many people on these forums have? How many would be brave enough, risk their own lives and the lives of their loved ones, families to oppose and voice their opposition of a tyrant??

We should all give thanks every day that we live in a healthy democracy where we can work, live, learn and have food on the table every day. We take a lot for granted ??
