For the examples I've mentioned, they have been used for 1000's of years in cultures all across the globe, by no means proof that they don't have side effects but more that any side effects are minor and no worse than a drug developed in a lab that's been given approval after a few years of testing.
Different people react differently to different drugs, but the physical effect a drug has on the body is generally the same in most people so it's an easier way to "measure" the effect of the drug and get it on the market faster....ceroxet springs to mind.
Yep it would limit your freedom of choice but that is not what the multi-billion drug industry and lobby groups would prefer if it means the only legal way treat yourself was from buying drugs they manufacture.
Google codex alimentarius and the german delegations proposal that no herb, vitamin or mineral should be sold for preventive or therapeutic reasons, and that supplements should be reclassified as drugs.

Now the question is WHY SOME PEOPLE TRY DRUG AND DON'T SAY NO ???!!!

IN THAT MOMENT THEY DIDN'T FEEL THEY ARE IN DANGER .
Now the second question is WHY THEY DIDN'T FEEL THAT THEY ARE IN DANGER ?
The answer is :
BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T LEARN IT BEFORE THAT MOMENT .
Example :
The antiviruse software can't do anything against thrests unless it has an updated list ot threats and knows how to deal with them .
In that case it can recognise the threats and perform the right action before they can harm the computer .
Now we can anderstand how important is the role of parents and school for awareness about drugs .

TEACH YOUR CHILDREN DRUGS ARE MUCH MORE DANGEROUS THAN SNAKES AND SCORPION .
