Do you believe that the glass ceiling still exists for women in the workplace?

Are women getting an equal share in the world that was earlier regarded as male-dominated?

Definition of Glass ceiling: An intangible barrier within an hierarchy that prevents women or minorities from obtaining upper-level positions.

Regardless of whether or not a profession was considered "male dominated" .... I think that if actual salaries were disclosed within organizations across the board, that many would realize that they were being underpaid compared to other co-workers doing the same work.

Nope, in my field women often get promoted above men because so few women are interested in engineering. In total I think 6% of UK engineering jobs are done by women, yet the higher up the ladder you go the higher that percentage becomes... at technician level the figure drops to around 4%.

This means that either women are innately superior to men, or that they are being given a leg up and the system is biased and corrupt.

And with more and more businesses putting salary non-disclosure clauses in their employment contracts you do wonder...

Not that real evidence matters much to Feminists and manfreakz, but there you go.
