I know I just read it she was so young only 53 years I didn't know she was ill along with the dreaded breast cancer she also had multiple sclerosis. I loved her voice and her music she will be missed so so sad

So many people have played on the soundtrack of our lives and I know this wild, passionate, strong and enormously talented woman played on mine.
Farewell Chrissy, you will be remembered for your guts and determination, your ability to hold an audience in the palm of your hand and most of all, for the music.

Chrissy (The Divinyls), she will be well remembered by me as I have listened to her music for many years now. Was just listening to some of her songs this morning and now just have found out that she has passed... She has passed but her music will live on... RIP
RIP Chrissy, she fought a good fight, shame she couldnt win.
Who will ever forget Chrissy in her school uniform belting out Divinyls songs. I can still remember the shockwaves that went out when they released I Touch Myself.
She always challenged the accpectable, and she sure did it well.

Count_Me_In: I agree, Bjess, this is a sad time for Australia as this is our loss... Chrissy pushed all boundaries and that is why I admired her so much plus she had such a great sensual technique and was such a rebel.... She was such an individual and gave us some of the best music, she was unique
I actually remember watching an interview with Chrissy, I think on 60 Minutes. She actually explained that she was actually shy, but the school uniform/costume gave her the chance to challenge her shyness. She sure did

She was one of Australia's true RocK ChicKs ... the poor lady had come through so much .... She is at peace in GoD's care now ....
