In reference to physical pain, I'd say the worst was appendicitis as a child. A close second was kidney stones and the least painful of those was childbirth.

I understand. I lost my first child at 40 weeks, about 12 hours before she was delivered.

When my son had his first major psychotic episode and was diagnosed with schizophrenia.
This was nearly ten years ago, he was in his early twenties, and his sister and I have travelled this incredibly difficult road with him.
His pain is ours and we will be there for him always.

Physical: Long time back, cut my knees badly in school and got around 7 stitches without local anesthesia.
Emotional: After six months of seeing each other and expressing her love so many times my girlfriend ( or what I thought her to be) telling me that she always saw me as just a friend and nothing more. This when I brought up the matter of marriage

Running and slipping over in the mud, getting back up and walking 2 steps before realising my leg was actually broken. Having to crawl up a random driveway with my toes dragging.
Or,
Sitting in the hospital with said broken shin, looking at an Xray of a double spiral break. Screaming my head off as 2 male nurses twisted my foot to realign it with my knee.
