When I realized my husband was going to die. I thought it hurt when my mum passed but I don't think I could actually describe in words how I felt when I knew that my husband and mines journey was at an end.

In reference to physical pain, I'd say the worst was appendicitis as a child. A close second was kidney stones and the least painful of those was childbirth.
Physical: Long time back, cut my knees badly in school and got around 7 stitches without local anesthesia.
Emotional: After six months of seeing each other and expressing her love so many times my girlfriend ( or what I thought her to be) telling me that she always saw me as just a friend and nothing more. This when I brought up the matter of marriage ...
Running and slipping over in the mud, getting back up and walking 2 steps before realising my leg was actually broken. Having to crawl up a random driveway with my toes dragging.
Or,
Sitting in the hospital with said broken shin, looking at an Xray of a double spiral break. Screaming my head off as 2 male nurses twisted my foot to realign it with my knee.
when I was 8 yrs old, a full grown german shepard jumped on me and took a chunk of my arm and doc stitching me up without local anesthesia or anything like that

Hearing that my son had been stabbed, six times! He pulled through against all odds, was in hospital for a long time and had extenive platic surgery, just thankfull my boy is alive!
