lalasierra, look at the voting breakdown.
It's mainly men who voted that women are looking for money.
I think it's often used as a justification when a guy can't get the women they want.
Reading through profiles, there are regions where women do expect to be supported financially, in most (Western) regions not. I think it's easy to see when women or men are just looking for a meal ticket.
