Def not a cat person
sorry puss but not for me. I am a dog lover dogs are like people except a lot of the time much nicer than the human race they love you unconditionally. 
I don't have a dog but there are two next door a black labrador and a cross dalmatian lovely natured dogs

Can see why people aren't fans of cats now, he's so sneaky and annoying, kinda creeps in and you don't even know he's there

I have a cat who acts like a dog goes walking with me when out in the dark when walking my dogs.

Blizz has a cat that goes on a lead.
Cats are very hard to train but they are trainable. It just takes nuch more work than dogs. Always made sure that the cats I had were well-fed so they would not go after birds.
I have had terriers over the last 35 years. They are very likely to attack anything that moves.
BUT.... my last dog would just sit back and let the birds eat his dog-biscuits.
And I have seen some of my terriers kill birds in the yard when taking their food. Mainly because the birds were on the move, not that they took the food. I have seen birds within 1 metre of my last dog eating his food and he just sat there watching.

During my years in my trade I knew this couple who had an indoor outdoor large cat enclosure which meant their two cats could never go out and prowl and kill of a night they had a lovely home and could walk out into the night in their enclosure , my Q is why can't so called cats lovers do the right thing like these people and take proper care of their cats and help preserve the bird species cat fights etc! which we all know goes on during the night
