i fear this is one of the reasons why of many relations failure. When one can give 10 and the other90 the sum is still 100.
I think every situation is unique.
Giving 100 and expecting 100, isn't the basic for business?

I didn't talk about business things... I talk about relationship values of both parties... It is very stupid if somebody gives 90 to his/her partner that only gives 10 in return... For me, 10 means playing game... If your partner doesn't really like you while you are ready to die for her, just be ready to play cat & mouse game with her... It is understandable why some people easily jump into a relationship without knowing each other better and then end up in miserable situation...

i agree on the fact everyone should bring their maximum, i consider that we are so different from each other.
I believe that never exist 0 and 100 and 50 and 50 as well.
It happens that each one brings in a relation what one is, their culture, their personal history, their experiences, their pains and successes, day by day, sometimes moment by moment.
A solid relationship starts from respect, knowledge, acceptance, giving worth, and a lot of personal features.
One can like rough approach, another like gentle, ... .
For me, of course.
