Although I worked in a capacity that required employees to be contracturally available for drug testing, and did always comply, personally I am against a policy that supposes guilt without cause. In the workplace it is unavoidable, and I will say even a little more legitimate. I feel it sends a negative message to children that they are under suspicion whether they have done anything wrong or not, and I do not believe that to be helpful or progressive. It is a sad state of current trends. JMO
Honestly, I agree with rohaan on one hand, on the other hand, I don't see how it would hurt. I feel it would keep the kids on their toes. It's a toss up for me.

I am drug tested yearly and occasionally randomly for work and I am not at all offended by it. I am all for drug testing students but even more so those who receive government benefits. Why should my tax money go to pay for deadbeats to sit around and use drugs?
