Can we extend euthanasia to girls who fail to fill out a pair of tight jeans, and figure hugging top in all the right places?

Just have all the nice pretty ones strolling around the place, hey???

Get yourself elected and maybe you'll get on the death panel when the time comes. Unfortunately the selection criteria will probably be more about how much tax you pay. George Bernard Shaw had this idea a long time ago. Very popular with his Socialist peers it was and still is.

I guess the question is, at what point do we stop?

A better question is where do we start?

I breed plants as a hobby and the one thing that is apparent is that in an artificial environment such as my greenhouses where conditions and disease are controlled, weakness, disadvantageous mutations and inherited problems have no kill point and it is up to me in the absence of natural selection to cull the hybrids to achieve the best results possible.

Before the industrial revolution or modern medicine nature selected the fittest humans to pass on their genetics as has happened for 1000's of years.

The increase in food production and advances in medical science have basically done away with natural selection in the developed world and this is/will have a knock on effect for future generations.

We start from where we are now or will be soon; the right to abort a child for a mother who claims to be suicidal and the right to take ones own life, perhaps by proxy, for those with a terminal illness.

I'm not sure it is helpful to equate humans with plants or think that the state/insurance companies taking over 'natural selection' would be to the benefit of humanity. You do realise 'natural selection' is the theory that humanity adapted and bred out certain traits over millions of years, maybe tens of millions of years. We are where we are and it would take millions of years to 'select' even the most minor changes to our present physiology. What the Socialists, like Shaw propose/d is the culling of those they arbitrairly decide are of no use to 'society'. Their idea of 'Society' is not humanity, it is their bitoted view of humanity. Who the currect gang-in-charge decide should die depends on the gangs politics, ideology, religion and other factors to do with the gang and it's ideals, rather than what is best for humanity. It would in fact be a most un-natural selection.

I mean, if Stan was in control, it would be women who are butt-challenged. If it was me it would be the lefties and Feminists. If it was the Feminists it would be me and Stan. If it were some here from the 'caring profession' it would be day old travellers... etc, etc.

It's all most ghoulish and only ghouls and brainwashed drones would practically propose and justify such murder, I feel.

Logan's Run.

I used to think Bill Gates was great when I was a kid. Someone who not only had a vision for himself, but a vision for everyone else and made it all come true. Him and others were telling us we'd be using smart devices and all sorts of gadgets we have nowadays.

I think it's gone to his head. A megalomaniac.
