Well I suppose congratulations? Have fun doing your own thing. And yeah, if you get bored, become a consultant.

I was at a meeting at VicRoads, Traralgon on Weds and let the guys there know I was finishing that day. They gave me a list of agencies they use for consultants.

Not ready to do anything for a while. I really need timeout.

So looking at getting another vehicle with all the mod-cons to go on a road trip.

Except this miserable weather means that I do not want to go just yet.

Maybe tomorrow, maybe not. Need to have the means (transport wise) to do the things I want.

Been busy with some writings, and tomorrow someone is coming to pick up the work vehicle. One less burden. Although I will miss the Peugeot Sports Wagon that I was leasing and all expenses paid in the lease agreement.

Now I will have to pull the wallet out when I want to go driving.frustrated frustrated

Newlife08: If you can - go back working for the same mob as a "Consultant"???As a friend said to me, I am doing the same job, less hours, choose when I want to work for double the money!

Had lunch today with a few guys I used to work with. Looks like I did make a good decision in leaving. Would take a lot more $$$$$$$$$$$ to get me back there.

Heading north in about 10 days for about 5-6 weeks. People to visit, places to see. Bit of prospecting. Know a couple of good places for opals and garnets but might try my hand at emeralds and rubys along the way.

5 years ago, I dug up some decent garnets and made them into earings and a necklace for my daughter's wedding present. Now they are a Family Heirloom. "Dad dug them up, Dad made them." Okay, I did get a cutter to do the real work.

Always worth looking for crystals. I found some half decent zircon in the Northern Territory a few years back, although a guy 2 metres away found a solid crystal while my finds had been a bit broken.

Okay, let me think about this. I need to travel 5,000kms there and back again (lots of places to look) to find 1 decent crystal. Add that and I do need to have a Fossikers License, need to camp there and back again, and maybe find one decent crystal.

And then I need to get it to you. This will cost you a lot of coffeerolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Just heard recently that coffee is the #2 on the Trade Index cheering
