Don't ya just hate it when ya head won't shut up and let you sleep ..

Then to make matters worse I flicked the radio on and then got sucked in to the talk back ... doh

Thought I'd come in here and see if there is any loose change to be found in the corridors of CS ...

Maybe this cup of tea maybe what I need to get me into sleep mode .. grin

Hi ProWlerwave

I rarely have those nights... but I do remember one night, when there was nothing for it but just wait til dawn, and wait to hear the birds start up... I went to work and nearly collapsed, felt awful all day..

Hope your day is not too bad today... Happy Thursday... daisy

I have done this too often over the last year. Wake up at 1 or 2 am thinking about work stuff. Usually fall asleep about 5 mins before the alarm goes off.

And it became cyclic where I would wake early, be dead tired all day and fall aleep early. Only to wake at 1 or 2 am again.

Woke up this morning at 4.24am (bloody digital clock imprints) thinking about some work issues.

The realised I don't work anymore.cheering banana head banger Rolled over and went back to sleep until 6.25am (bloody digital clock imprints).

And then laid back in bed reading until 9.00am reading.

Because I can.applause

Had my breakfast and the phone calls start. All good, son-in-law who wants my 4wd and trailer to move his sister. After all these years of listening to his wife about how crappy and horrible it is, he thanks me for having it. And even filled it up for me.

Not sure how much it took as it had as I put $50 in first thing this morning (okay, first active thing) but I do appreciate him doing that.

Okay, that is my Good News story for the day.

Prowler, it is very hard to break the cyclic sleeping problem of waking very early. Sleeping pills help some people but many are not happy with the drowsiness that follows the next day.

There is a "natural" remedy called Valarium. Usually taken about 1 hour before you go to sleep - I have never worked that bit out as I am usually wide awake one minute and gone the next.

This is not a drug but a 'natural' relaxant and may be of help to you.
