Oh "cute" I think this is wonderful. I put my son up for adoption 20 years ago this May and I can't wait until the day I get to hold him and see how his life has been so far. So good luck and I'll be praying for ya! LSU

I'm 47 and knew all my life that I was adopted, but it wasn't until about 7 years ago, after my adopted parents passed away, that I finally decided to search for my birthparents. It took me almost 2 years to finally get a response from the adoption agency, but I did find my birthmother. We have been corresponding back and forth for a few years now, but have never met yet. She lives in Wisconsin and I live in Nova Scotia. I'm hoping that we will meet soon. It is something that I think about every day.

Hi,
I am an adoptee; very interesting story, it all broke loose when I was 14 and the town I was living in knew I was adopted before I did and my sister. This caused quite a stir in a town of 3500, causing her to run away at 15 and it wasn't until I was 19 and out of the house, the adopted parents decided they didn't want anything to do with me, many bad years to follow, then in 1985 was in No. CA, was in a Safeway store and standing in line, in front of me was my sister, who I hadn't seen in 18 years, I found her quite miracously from a woman in another store in the same parking lot.(she told me to go there).

The incident made major newspapers, CNN etc in 1984. Sad to say things didn't work out well, but did get to meet my mother who I actually had talked to for about 3 hours in a store I owned here locally a few years before and we didn't know who we were at the time but took my sister going through an agency based in NY to find our brother, who to this day I have not met, but met my mother the following Thanksgiving in 1985.
Also a half sister I didn't know I had.

Much to this story and is a project I am working on.
I hope it can work out for you, get in touch with a good agency, try the internet to start. The Morman's library in Utah is a great start.

Jax, I still haven't found information on my daughter, Vanessa Diane who was born May 13, 1983 in Wichita, Kansas. My ex and my deceased along with me tried to get information. The lawyer left Sedgewick county, Wichita, Kansas. He told me Vanessa was given up after two weeks by my girlfriend there. I got to see her the first two weeks of her life. She would be 23 years old now. I hope you luck with your search.
