We are in Germany and have tenants who refuse to pay and are fighting eviction.

We pay the heat and hot water and have a separate meter. Can we legally turn the heat off because we cant afford to pay it without the rent being paid

How long does it take to get red of deadbeat tenants

So ...... you enjoy to pay for the heating and water for other people?

Can you "legally" turn off their heat and water? Same question is can they "legally" not pay their rent?

Basic rule of life/law and order ....... No person may benefit from another at that person`s expense. Your tenants are abusing you at your own expense.

I have heard of this in Germany. If I were a house owner and tenants don`t pay their rent, I go and throw their stuff in the road.

Don`t you have a signed contract?
