what you are saying may be initially true in some cases - tho I can;t imagine that all chinese men treat women poorly (not safe to paint any group with a broad brush)
I think it;s very possible to fall in love with someone who treats you with more respect, very possible indeed. so if the western men they are meeting are more respectful and more egalitarian (both christian values) I could definitely understand how a woman who is not used to being treated equally & kindly could fall in love with a man who does treat her so.....regardless of his race or ethnicity...

Still he has not indicated he is in Love with either one, merely they are in Love with him and they are friends. So I am really not understanding the reason for the opposition to a poly arrangement. They will have what they wish, he will have his needs met, so why on earth would anyone external to this feel they have grounds to whine about it or object to it?

yes somehow we got onto chinese men and chinese culture. I also prefer to look at it as an issue involving a man and 2 women he's attracted to ... no mention of race or nationality

I do agree Some chinese girls are not rich,or I should say, they are poor,but some are doing pretty ok.. Many girls have fairly good life, especially in big cities, china is not poor at all,Beijing,Shanghai, Shenzhen.

My last g/f but one was Chinese from a village near Bejing. She was absolutely delightful as a woman and made you feel like a man, such humility and presence none of the arrogance and demands of Western women. And she could cook Chinese food, wow I was ready to marry her but before I could ask her, she had to return to China for a family funeral. Strangely, I lost touch with her and have never seen her since.
