jasmine64: Would you continue to date or want to be in a relationship with man/woman that tells you they are on many different dating sites? This is told to you after you have been dating 4 months or so.

Dear Agony Aunt,
I'm not sure what it is about private mail off site, but it feels to me like I'm stepping into a walk-in freezer, being locked in and having to shout at the walls in the hope of communicating with people.
I've got the hang of it with my best friend because its like texting her and I see her a lot anyway.
Coming on to CS feels more like walking into a cosy room for a chat where the kettle's already on.
Its possibly something to do with colour, my particular form of dyslexia, forum discussions going on which stimulate conversation elsewhere and knowing that someone is around, or not around when I write a mail, like I know if I'm leaving someone a note, or possibly having a two-way conversation.
I'm also on another dating site which I haven't logged into for at least 6 months and maybe others which I checked out, but didn't like and maybe forgot about before cancelling my profile. I don't think so, though. I think I cancelled everything.
I've never really felt comfortable with FB, either.
Does this make me doomed to committing infidelities, even though infidelity is against my belief system?

Cyn_Real: I don't understand about your statements...it seems very clear that some might have misconception about commitment and dating....For people who are in serious relationship, dating is only a medium to get to know each other better...we build commitment from this stage one by one... such a careless thing if we do dating without commitment involved...and whenever something bitter happened, its already too late to demand integrity and security...
