It might not seem like it right now if your hurting but better to find out what certain people are really like sooner rather than later. Sounds like whoever has upset you is not worthy of someone like you.

i know,,,, and i thinks its awesome
hey snags yea, its similar to that where i work, me and my friend at work spend days training these new people, taking time out of what we should be doing, then the newies decide to just not turn up
after spending time training them up, then if any do turn up, they leave within 2 weeks then its starts all over again
they just dont want to work i think half of these get sent from the dole office, they then tell them they have got a job and that qualifies them for the dole when they say they cant do it,
waste of time space cadets

I know what you are saying Ash - a few years ago I worked at a local Telemarketing place, now I know it is not the best job, but that particular company has been on the GC for years - some of the ladies have worked there for about 15 yrs!
They are well aware of how women's lives are and their family responsibilities, elderly parents, grandkids after school sort of stuff and have lots of different shifts to fit people's other stuff.
I started with about 4 other ladies, training etc. after a couple of weeks I asked the supervisor "Oh I haven't seen ????? for a few days is she off sick or something?"
"Dunno" she said. She told me they just don't come back and don't even bother to call to say they are not coming back
WT?? What are they teaching people these days are respect and manners, what does it take to make a fone call?

hey newie, you are spot on with what you said, it comes down to respect, just one call, but they probably dont even get up early enough for that
everytime we get a new one at work its a case of "wonder how long she will last" we have had ones also started work and the following day they ring in sick More Threads
