jarred1: I stay 3 years whit the same picture he look not so good but is not important for me. cause outside. says nothing who you are
might not be important to you, but might be important to the women you meet. it's been mentioned in the threads before, some folks are disappointed if the person looks years older in real life than their photograph suggests. other folks find it dishonest and can set a negative or suspicious tone. same for folks that lie about their age. if it doesn't start off honest, why would one expect it to change?
having said that....if you haven't changed in appearance in three years, no harm, no foul.
but i gotta ask.....if ya haven't changed in three years...whadda doing? would like some of that anti-aging serum....
i change my pics ...to reflect what i look like now. often think about no photo as a good option as well.
As long as they are all of me, what difference. As a courtesy if it is an old (more than 2 years) picture, the profile says so.
As someone else says, oh yeah it makes a difference when you meet. More than once it has been a real show stopper. Re: if they can lie about that, everything else is probably a lie too.

It may not make a differance to you,but it does to me.I dont care how "good" they are inside,if they post a picture where they havnt bothered to make an effort to present themselves nicely,i am not interested. There are plenty who are nice inside, who make the effort, and i for one appreciate that.
I often change my profile pic. Often times(perhaps more often then not) my profile pic is not of me but of something I like. It could be of something I do or perhaps of some of my work and so on. By now,as I have been on here for some time, most CS'ers know me and what I look like. There really isn't an option on here to show people what one has for likes or hobbies. I use the photo section as well as some of the other features so folks here can actually know more about me.

jarred1: how many times you did changed your profile picture here on cs. and why.
I have lost count on how many times I have changed my picture.....and most people don't think they have changed in three years or ten years or twenty...the truth is we never see ourselves as others do. But good on you for thinking so When you see something or someone on a regular basis...daily your perception of it excepts the little wear and tear and does not notice it. I seen a picture one time and the woman was sitting on my couch. Tho I had always thought the couch looked quite lovely the picture showed it was quite worn in reality and I needed a new one. I also know some on here are not really looking. I am not really looking but in case I do stumble across that special someone I want to be prepared. Pictures are also deceiving. Some people actually never look in real life like their pics. Why that is I don't know. I have seen and know this just is. So when looking at a pic the person could look a lot better or a lot worse. So the pics is really something each individual must decide for themselves. I have seen some that are a good forty years old, clothing, pic color, etc. give away.

I know you've changed your pic lots of times as I have. You're right about people sometimes not looking the same in real life so I think it's good to change pics as often as possible in order to show different looks.
Mine changed again today as I'm developing my summer tan so I look a little different! I did look at some of the pics I had on CS years ago and I look younger of course so it wouldn't be fair to continue using them.
I just rotate my pictures out. In the beginning, it was cause my rating was low so I thought it was a bad picture. Now I realize some people just like to give ones no matter how good or bad the picture is.
