I tell ya what was tough... when I used to do the Water safety stuff down in Wexford for the 'Survival 3' qualification they'd bring us out a mile or so in a speedboat and tell us to get out... wearing a shirt, bottoms and a pair of shoes. Then you'd have to swim back towards the harbour with the cloths... then take something off (trousers or shirt) and use it as a inflation device.. then you'd grab a partner and carry the c*nt a few hundred yards while swimming... and then swap over... and the whole thing was timed you had to do each bit in a certain amount of time or fail. The waves could be massive but they didn't give a f*ck lol

Jesus, that looks like great craic :)

The Trojan challenge sounds a bit more fun as it's not a race and it's only 10k, I wonder can you bring your dogs?

Difficult, as in the chap was super fit and found it hard or difficult as in he was of average fitness and found it tough going?

Ah that's nothing. I remember when we used to be thrown into rivers full of crocodiles with only a bacon flavoured pair of speedos. We'd have to swim 30 miles through the shoals of piranha with one arm tied behind our back and fighting off the great white sharks. Sometimes if they though we looked too relaxed they lob in a few grenades. Ah you yong whipper snappers don't know how easy you have it.

FU.

I'm not cut out to be a swimmer, though. Small hands, small feet and long legs compared to the rest of me.

If you want to be a really good swimmer you have to have shovels for hands, feet and freakishly short legs but really long body.

That's why God made flippers and ping-pong paddles.
