Look,....I am not here to argue with the Maiden, Priest, and Metallica fans,....HM is HM!!
But Grandad has a new album! Wikipedia gives credit to three as the "founding" fathers of metal.....Led Zeppelin (nah,...not in my opinion,...like the Stones they borrowed very heavily from old blues artists and you could here it,...), Deep Purple,...(hmmm,....okay,..this is granddads cousin,...but the keyboards sometimes (and do not get me wrong,....loved the keyboards DP layed down), took a bit of the edge off,....so that leaves that tight little band from 1968,.....who 45 years later, as old and tired men,...try to justify my homage to them,...as the founding grandfathers of the genre known as Heavy Metal!
PS - This is probably the kind of music, that when I am in the mood to listen to it, will get me committed to the garage! LOL
