If anyone wonders why society is becoming more violent then look no further than a judge thinking an innocent man's life is worth no more than three and a half years!very mad

The judges in this country are too detached from real life. I have said it many times. The soliciter for Burch had requested the sentencing be delayed to allow him complete a FAS coursedoh After killing a man!very mad

All I know if it was one of my family I would see him when he gets out and then do my time.

I would feel the same way....and that's not right, the state should vindicate the rights of the victim, it shouldn't be up to the victims family to go about getting justice.

well I heard it on Matt Cooper this evening driving home from work.
Some of the Journos he had on filled in the other bits I said above.

Nothing will bring Mr Maloney back......very sad, needless, mindless story

Mary Ellen knows bestlaugh

There, there Snowy, when will you ever realise the State in not here to defend the rights of the innocent. They are here to protect their racket. Just because every man, woman and child in the State has €750 a year stolen from them to keep the 'Justice system' running doesn't mean it ever tries to deliver justice. Nothing in the State store does what it says on the tin.

Its always been know that some maybe a lot of judges are known for the hanky panky side of things s&m and more totaly lost touch with reality, theres a wan around here ie Spanish and always in trouble playing fellas of each other and sniffing the devils dandruff and up for various other convictions, she attended court a couple of weeks ago according to a friend of mine whos son was in court and she went up first and the ole fart of a judge said ah its great to see a preety face in here, the dirty ole prev.I heard no body stood up for him when he entered the courtroom and that really pissed him off.

I did something similar years ago when I was plastered drunk...punched some aul fella..wasn't even thinking at the time..now he was lying on the ground for a good half hour but he was ok ..no injuries..I was lucky he could have banged his head and died...crazy things like this happen when you have loads of drink involved especially when reckless young fellas drinkireland

sofarsogood74: Never happened to me. I could handle my drink though. And no matter how drunk I have ever got I never felt the need to hit someone older or weaker. Did you punch a lady too?

no he was 52 not that old and he drunkenly shouted in my face so I swung for him..didn't even think at the time..I panicked cause he was real thick and I was only a young lad...I've punched a woman too yes because she hit me first..so I put her in her placeireland

With 25% remission Burch will be out in February 2016. I hope the DPP appeal this shockingly lenaint sentence.

sofarsogood74: Least I dont go around hitting women and old men to make me feel the big man.

The circumstances have been explained and it was all dealt with in court..had it been deemed to be that serious I'd be in jail now wouldn't I? good nightwave

sofarsogood74: Jail now? How long do you think you would get for assaulting an old man?

Your circumstances were no excuse to hit a woman r old man.

tell that to the judgeireland
