I liked the part about the journal and writing three things you are grateful for everyday. I have used this technique myself when needed.
I am an optimist and usually see the positive side of things.
My three things to be grateful for today are:
1) I don't have to go to work today
2) I have friends who care for me and me for them, including my CS buddies
3) I got to watch a Rosella come and take a morning bath in the birdbath in my garden this morning.
Have a great day all and remember your three things

if things get me down i just think of good things to come,,, need stuff to look forwards too though, i couldnt just do the same things day after day. year after year without some excitement or holiday to plan

If we all don't have plans and dreams to look forward to we may as well be D E A D I cannot believe people who have never left their state , all their lives have never gone out of their state. I have even met people who haven't even been out of Perth
I'm talking adults here like old people

Good for you Asha. Planning a holiday or outing does give you something to look forward to and lifts your spirits. That's exactly what I reacon
