I agree his music was groundbreaking and set new standards, he had a troubled and tough childhood, but I can't get over the fact that he slept in his bed with young boys?
Had this discussion with a friend of mine and she defended him by saying 'he never had a childhood' so my arguement is would you let your 10 yo/12yo/14yo grandson stayover, sleep in the same bed as a 40 odd yo MAN because he is the King of Pop???
If your 40 yo next door neighbour was great with kids, great musician, rich, would you let your child stay overnight unsupervised??
And the whole thing about his kids I think is just weird.
Love his music though Serene, "Thriller" set the bar for any music videos that followed, still remember being in a bar in Magalluf, Majorca, Spain and watching it over and over.
Oh happy days.

For me... I think he had a child like mind, and really was not into perverted stuff...
and I don't think much of when my grandie comes to stay, she sleeps in my bed ... I read to her, she cuddles, and then she sleeps on the far side..
so , what is the difference.. ???
If you truly love a child, then you are not going to hurt the child in any way... and I don't think MJ ever did anything to hurt his children...

But your grandchildren are your flesh and blood (by one generation?) and it is normal as a parent/grandparent to protect and prevent them from being harmed in any way.
But would you feel comfortable letting your granddaughter stay with a neighbour who was rich, famous and let him/her sleep in the same bed as an adult even if they seemed to be child-like?? Seriously - ??
It is every parents duty to take care of their child, make the right decisions because we are the adults and have a lot more life experience and they are the children, naive, lacking in the ability to figure out who is true and who is not?
JMHO - but I know no matter who it was I would not let my kids go to another country and stay in the same bed as an adult, childlike or not?

It's not just your opinion NL , lots share it .
