I used an online service, doesn't make it quicker, just more convenient and cheaper.

Make you wonder why bother getting married to begin with everything today is throw a way society including the value of marriage JMO! For todays standards couples just live together or have your own home and visit each other sounds way less stressful JMO! Not against two peeps getting it together just the marriage bit confused

Relationships don't work out sometimes.

I married the wrong person, I eventually realised you get one life so why be with someone who makes you miserable, and who you probably make miserable too.

I don't see it as throw away. I see it as experience.

I used an online service simply because it was cheaper. I see no problem with that at all. We'd already organised everything between ourselves so it was just the paperwork to sort.

He knows why I left and he agrees it was the right thing to do. No one on here needs to know what went on in our marriage, so you can jump to the conclusion I threw it away if you like.

So because I don't agree with someone's views I become stupid.

I was putting forward my own experience.

We all appreciate that you were putting your own experience ..

and yes,, I acknowledge that 26 yrs... is a grand effort... and for your own private reasons... it ended.. and I also acknowledge, that when you first say your vows... you do really mean it...

but as time moves along, people change directions in life, or whatever, and that joy part disappears, and its quite common..

However, some people marry for money, and others for visa to another land, and others for all sorts of reasons, some I prolly am not aware about... and I think, the point that Curly was making..

assimilating it to a 'throwaway' society...

I am sure that some people who marry do not have honest intentions, and the onset of easier online divorce must be a lure..

but hey, I have never been divorced... so I really don't know much.. except what I hear from others... bouquet
