KNenagh: Hi Micky, did you ever try Weight Watchers?

You loose weight but not starve yourself but learn to completely change your eating habits long-term.

With sports, what about swimming?

Best of luck, hope you'll feel better healthwise soon.

at this point I should point out I have changed my eating habits a fair few times . Yes I jump off the wagon from time to time.
When I first was told I had pre diabetes one form of info said don't eat spuds .
Stopped eating them and the ex who wasn't my ex then went off her head . But I stopped being bloated after meals ! When I look back she was feeding me half a plate of mashed spuds most nights !!
As I also have said I don't eat between meals at work . Evening meal does consist most nights of half a plate of vegies and some meat !! But you know they don't always fill you up if ive had a big day at work . Or ive come home and exercised as well my hunger gets the better of me !!

But at work I only eat what I should . So many people point the finger I can not handle it !!
Yet they had a charity lunch with pies and pasties sorry can not do it !! Why not sorry I can not eat that !!
What do I get eat every thing in moderation from people who are anorexic the first ones who point fingers !!

Now I'm rambling on .
The flu shot was fun I went extremely light headed 5 minutes later . But you ate morning tea no I had a diet drink no you ate . No at that stage I hadn't eaten smoko for 4 weeks !!

Sorry Micky, I don't know much about diabetis, I just know that Weicht Watchers worked for a couple of people before.

Diabetis is hard, so much to cut out and so much to take into consideration what to do / to eat healthwise.

Best of luck to you.

Ireland is worth a trip it's a beautiful little country and easy to get around.

I'm German btw and living here for the last 8 years, so have a mix of a German accent (won't be getting rid of that at this stage) and some Nenagh accent.
