Anyone who's ever thought it's possible to feel romantic love simultaneously for more than one person, in the same or in different ways, speak up!

For me, the answer is obviously yes.

If someone says they can only love one person at a time, I think they are either lying or have internalized the duty of being committed to such a degree that they are a little dead inside.

dunno

Steffffie wave

So when you say 'romantic love' you are talking in the true terms of polyamory, which is intimate relationships with more than one person? conversing

Let's do it in two steps.

Can we first agree that we can feel romantic love for many people?
And secondly, should we get intimate with more than one or not, and why?

Perhaps you could define my concept of love, please?

Nope, sorry, I'm a Gemini and we run to danger laugh

All or nothing for us (well me anyway lol) and to be honest, I've had two men in my life on more than one occasion.

Sometimes one person doesn't quite fulfill all our needs ..

But polyamory is based on honesty and openness, it's not about illicit affairs, it's about understanding and having similar needs and views conversing

Oh crap - I guess I'm a lil bit dead on the inside then, most of the time at least. If and when I committed to someone in the past, I did it pretty much absolutely, but of course there were times when I almost wandered off the path and into bad-girl territory... giggle

Different strokes for different folks.

I have no problem if someone feels that way, but "judging" people who don't feel that way is so "judgemental" laugh

No, never felt that way. When I'm with someone, I don't even feel the need to look at someone else. I only felt differently when the relationship was ending or over. wine

I can only interpolate from my experience, that's why I am asking for input.

Let's not talk about affairs... too loaded a subject.
Let's stay at the level of feelings. Do you think it's possible to have romantic feelings for two men at the same time?

Commitment is a choice with moral implications and whatnot; feelings, less so. Let's talk about feelings if we can.

Yes I believe one can, and no we're not talking about affairs thumbs up

The love one feels for two different men is like loving anyone .. it will be unique and for who they are, how they make you feel and so on.

What I was asking(and commenting upon) is whether you accept the possibility of developing romantic feelings for two men simultaneously. Acting upon those feelings is something else.

Yes it is possible. And happens to a lot of people. To act on it though is a different issue.
