Italy and Germany also agreed to send their teams to compete with Russian and US tank crews. The event will take place sometime next year.

Traditionally Russian tanks have been extremely mobile, however fire control systems normally were not good enough to accurately hit things while on the move, modern Western tanks while more cumbersome, would hit things more reliably on the move.
This won't be a whitewash.

I know the Biathlon Winter Sport... used to watch it on Eurosport when I was a kid... but I forget how it works for missed shots on target. Was there a time penalty added?
