You are holding on to your grandmother's hand and a newborn baby that you don't know as they hang over a cliff. You must let one go in order to save the other. Who do you let fall to their death? How did you rationalize your decision?

Why would you have to let either go? Everyone usually has two hands.

It's a hypothetical question.

Would you choose the newborn to live who potentially has a full life ahead and could make a differnce in the world or would you choose granny, whom you love dearly? Keeping in mind granny has lived a long life.
