I will be at my most happiest in two weeks time when I will be in Italy.

I will be sat by the coast in the sunshine, spectacular views, great food and fabulous wine, music playing, good company, a soft cool breeze and far removed from the stresses and strains of work, life, etc.

For goodness sake, sometimes we are happy, sometimes we are not. Mundane routine things can make us miserable at times, but the smallest thing can lift us. I could give you hundreds of examples but they would be very boring I suspect to most readers.

What I have in terms of material possessions does make me happy, of course it does, otherwise I would not have strived to obtain those things. What I am fortunate to have in terms of family/personal relationships makes me even happier, but even so, these relationships require nurturing and some people, who have sadly experienced difficult backgrounds, are unable to do this and therefore remain very unhappy and damaged.

Happiness can occur when the sun rises, the spring flowers bloom.....etc, all of these things are not really under our control thankfully and we can rely on them, but other kinds of happiness we have to work at to experience and maintain.

Happiness is blossoming where I am planted in life. I agree with Buddha laugh it is a frame of mind. Knowing everyday every moment will not be a good, yet being grateful for everyday and every moment you are given. bouquet

I do not agree. Happiness is dependent on many factors. People need to have their basic needs met and then they can be happy. Basic needs include food, water, shelter, socialisation, acceptance.

Without these things, there is no real and true happiness. We can pretend to be happy, but it is no more than a pretense.

True happiness can only be when our basic needs are met. Then we can be content. Happiness is not something we will in the mind, it is something we are, or are not. Happiness is a state of being, not a perception.

What it means? Since I'm not american citizen, do I have the right to pursuit my happiness?

I hope my creator endowed me of that right, but my Constitution does not mention it!.
