Is dating by Astrology the way to find true love? (135)

I have a general interest in astrology, east & west. What do you folk think about searching for a partner based on astrology. Some people may say that its all rubbish. I dont think that it is. I could give out some examples, but I dont want to bore you with my life. I'm just looking for feedback from others...so go for it :)

Its all rubbish IMO.

So far, I chose dates based on gender ,that is still my primary criteria

Haha!, ya I know, its not really the man thing to do or think about. But what else can you go by? You dont know the person for maybe 3-4 months, and what type of personality that they have. There's a science behind astrology, and its something to go on at least....

Well, I guess the way to have an idea is to look at those people around you and who you get on with best....I'm a Virgo, and my close friends are Leo, Virgo & Libra, all at the same end of the western astrology. The girls that I have been with, and its not been too many because I'm not a one night stand person (again unusual for a guy I understand) have all been either Aquarius or Capricorn, this time at the opposite end of my western astrology chart. I found out this after dating in the last few years. so is that coincidence....I'm also in advertising which is a Virgo trait, and I'm a picky person when it comes to dating and I like to be tidy around the house, again another virgo trait....

I don't believe in it. But I believe in the power of pretending to believe in it.

How on earth did gay enter into this?? It can be a great tool to judge your compatibility w/ another..For example, 2 Scorpios might have a problem..Might..So studying in advance can alert you to the goods and bads in advance..IMHO..

I'm a twin, and gemini's are also known for advertising, so Gemini's wouldn't be a bridge too far. But Pisces are supposed to be the best match for Virgo's so I'll have to search and search for her.....

Ok, according to astrology you and I, that is Taurus and Virgo, are earth plus earth/solid ground therefore highly compatible. I have no idea how old you are so I'm speaking hypothetically, yet I disagreed with your previous post vehemently.

There is no rush, at least no rush to jump into a relationship without weighing up in advance if its got a better than average chance. Look at it this way, if I met a girl tomorrow randomly, and after a while say 3-4 months, and we both found that we were not compatible, then that would be another 3-4 months wasted with the wrong person. Then there's the whole dominant male/female situation ie some girls like to be dominant and some guys like to take the back seat and visa versa, so I guess its important to know this from the beginning.....

That sounds like a way of avoiding the real reason a relationship didnt work. Over 16 years all the same not bad for a total mismatch.
