My daughter came back from Europe the other day, and she almost convinced me that I should do it too.
Food and accomm are cheap there she says, because of the (still) high Aussie dollah.
Would like to see parts of Europe I've never been to, eg Italy, Spain, Eastern Europe.
Would it be worthwhile? confused

LOL, It's a tiny little place with a population of about 300, we used to travel through there quite a bit when I was in the Army, we were doing jungle training at the border ranges, which are close by.wine wave

Tall ships are in Hobart this weekend before heading to Sideny.

Saw a clip on tv about it and was very tempted to head 'overseas' to see them.

they are in Sydney from Thursday 3rd to 11th October. Fleet review is on the Saturday 5th.
IT is also the Naval 100 year celebrations so there will be warships in port as well.

All I can say if you are interested Wash is GO!
It is an awesome sight to see, even better if you can get out on one of the tall ships.
