Just cleaned out my fridge and have a few "high end" oddities. So, should I have shrimp salad, or pork chops with pesto and chavre on crackers for the hors d'oeuvre? Gotta use some of this stuff up, and I hate to waste food. thanx

Do the shrimp tonight and I will come up (less than six hour drive ) and we will do pork chops tomorrow!!
I'd go with the shrimp salad. Pork? Taste good, but pigs will eat anything. Left to their own devises, they would eat us, they eat their own and their livers can't absorb all of the toxins that they take in, so our livers must process the rest. Happy dinning.

I had the chops, after all. But go ahead and come up here, we'll have the shrimp, and maybe I'll even grill you a Harbor Sandwich (toasted oysters on a hoagie or bagel. Awesome!)

put the whole lot into a blender....untill its a paste....add salt/pepper...herbs....then into a deep pan..then into a hot oven for 4 hours....take out..and roll it into a ball...( football.size)....round.......when cold. drill a hole into it....add a chain.....then when someone else makes a stupid comment like this one i,m writing......pick it up....and smash em over the head with it......
