Been trying to eat healthier noticed at subway when I bought my 6 inch vegie delight . That the one with the Vegie patty contains a hell of a lot more fat than the one without the pattyconfused

Have you found this very often when doing your vegie thing !!

And you should see my salads for lunch do have some cheese though!!

Yeah you have to watch that Subway stuff eh micky, obviously the patty would have fat in it where the other one is just salad.

The bread makes all the difference too, as does the sauce you choose, let alone the cheese laugh

I'm trying to eat healthier, fancied something sweet though so opened a tin of condensed milk, after two teaspoons I was sick of it.

Does this mean I've grown up?

Okay, Micky. You do have to realise that the little bit of cheese (I do love cheeses) is a big no-no for a diabetic. Not to mention the sweetened bread they serve.

Stilton
Blue brie
Gorgonzola
Roquefort!!

but the best, and I can't find it over here, is Wensleydale.

You can get it with crappy bits added but I can't find the proper stuff.

yep and I only have it during footy season for lunch on the day. And as directed by the diabetic dietician's I have a six inch subway!! However after an 8 hour work day and going to a night game(well two games of footy) I had a footlong !! And guess my sugar levels were fantastic the next day !!

Now work days I have a salad no bread do have some cheese !!
As the diabetic dieticians tell you wash you can have a little of something just not a lot .
Chocolate you know we are allowed two squares a day of dark chocolate if we want wash !!
Its the fat not the sugar !!

I do like Mersey Valley love the pickle onion flavoured cheese !!
But I find it very crumbly for my salad lunches!! Have been buying a tasie cheddar cheese aged for 16 months that I cut into small squares and put in my green salad !!
Trying something different this week or a couple of days aged with olives and something else in it.
So I have either baby spinach or lettuce with red onion, olives ,celery, spiced gherkins sliced radishes and two peppers stuffed with feta !! And then fruit !!
Sorry WASH to much cheese rolling on the floor laughing
Even got told by a skinny female co worker that's not enough no protein oh well im loving it !!
