Yeah the Mersey Valley is crumbly, but great for salads - try this..

Baby spinach leaves

Avocado, sliced

red onion, sliced

thinly sliced prosciutto, grilled till crispy (I leave that out lol)

Mersey Valley crumbled through

a dressing made from equal parts maple syrup and balsamic vinegar

mickyj63: I do like Mersey Valley love the pickle onion flavoured cheese !!
But I find it very crumbly for my salad lunches!! Have been buying a tasie cheddar cheese aged for 16 months that I cut into small squares and put in my green salad !!
Trying something different this week or a couple of days aged with olives and something else in it.
So I have either baby spinach or lettuce with red onion, olives ,celery, spiced gherkins sliced radishes and two peppers stuffed with feta !! And then fruit !!
Sorry WASH to much cheese
Even got told by a skinny female co worker that's not enough no protein oh well im loving it !!

The feta's protein, so you're getting a bit.
You could always add a boiled egg for more if you feel you need it.
